The City Garden

It takes just ten minutes to walk from the F33 to the Stadtgarten, a green oasis of rest in the heart of Freiburg. This is where nature, culture and relaxation meet: With over 250 different types of rose, impressive old trees, ponds and beautifully designed flowerbeds, it is the perfect place for a relaxing stroll. The Schlossbergbahn offers a special experience, leading from the park to the 460-metre-high Schlossberg and providing panoramic views of the city. During the summer months, the music pavilion becomes a stage for concerts and open-air events, making the park a popular meeting place for locals and visitors alike.
